WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

Based on the antique, this timelessly elegant and rare sculpture has exceptional proportion and grace. P. Ipsen was a highly regarded Danish ceramics manufacturer who studied at the Royal Porcelain Manufactory. His work is in the permanent collections of Neue Pinakothek in München, National Museum in Stockholm, Los Angeles Museum, Cleveland Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, National Museum of Finland in Helsinki, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen, Les Amis des Musees de la ville de Mons in Brussels, National Arts Club in New York City

The mark P. Ipsen Eneret is found on works made between 1871 and 1917

Excellent Condition - Exhibits minor wear consistent with age and use. No evidence of cracks or fissures. One very small loss to fingertip of left hand. Minor nicks and chips to underside of base. Please see images.
