WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

Mexican Lacquerware (laca or maque in Mexican Spanish) is one of the country's oldest crafts, having independent origins from Asian lacquerware. This box was made in the traditional method with white cedar wood by the people of Olinalá, which have been making lacquer items since Pre-Colombian times.

White cedar, oil paints.
